Toby's Ventura PV-1. FINISHED

Post by TobyC »

After my earlier capitulation I've decided to do the Academy/Minicraft Ventura. It looks a lot more forgiving. Pics to follow after I've had a good nap.

After a good sleep I have washed the parts and am ready to go

Although the decals look ok I recall from previous Academy kits that they can be somewhat thick so I've gone for this option just to make sure.

Better luck with this one! I've not heard of that decal maker before and see they have lots of neat stuff so I'll be interested in your opinion of them.

Shame about the other kit, but this one should be a lot easier to complete.

Thats what we like to hear. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with this one.

I've used Print Scale Decals and found I had to use Liquid Decal Film on them to keep them in one piece.

So far it's refreshingly simple and goes together well. Nicely recessed panel lines. I'm positively bubbling over. :)

whooaaa boy, steady on now. :ha:
I prefer recessed lines. They don't disappear too quickly under my heavy sanding.
