Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Thanks. The white is very white so will need to soften it up where it meets the blue though and then I'll weather it into oblivion

Thanks. I've got a bit of a move on today after a couple of days of stagnation. Edges softened.

Excellent feathering on the edges. Is it just airbrushed freehand? It's a very elegant looking airframe, isn't it?

Lovely soft demarcation line!
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Yes it was free hand air brushing. Something about those small twin engined planes from Lockheed and Beech that are very appealing

First decals go on

Tbh I'm getting a bit bored with it. I don't think things with more than one engine are really my forté

C'mon Toby, chin up! You're on the home straight now and there's light at the end of the tunnel :-D

Look at it this way; if single engines are more your thing, this counts as two finishes but with only one fuselage :ha: :-D
Best wishes

I suppose you may be right. In that case a P38 would really confuse me ;-)

The Ventura is looking excellent Toby, so near to being complete too, stick at it  I feel like having a crack at one of the Hudsons in my stash now.

Sorted. Unfortunately the pictures have highlighted some of the fit issues I hoped wouldn't be too obvious. Weathering to the rescue
