Really good job on that one. ( 9F ) I'm always torn between an original finish, or adding detail as you have done.

That's quite a body of work there, on some old kits.
So many models, so little time.

Many thanks Chuck.

And here we are, the Dapol Signal Gantry is now finished. The gantry structure received an initial wash of Burnt Sienna oil paint, heavily thinned with white spirits and once dried a second wash was applied this time using Humbrol Hu-33 Matt Black again heavily thinned with white spirits. The light heads were painted Tamiya Matt Black following which two of the upper lights were picked out with Hu-2 Emerald Green and a single light with Tamiya Lemon Yellow. The unlit lights were picked out with Tamiya NATO Black followed with an overcoat of Tamiya Smoke.

And that's it - sorry I didn't have the time to contribute more.

Thanks for looking.

The gantry looks very good indeed Shaun considering the supplied signals heads have never borne even a passing resemblance to the real thing. That will look very good on the layout - I think I have the perfect spot, but it depends if it will actually straddle three roads or be too narrow. Soon find out in 5 days time!

Cheers
Al.

Cheers Al. I don't have three sections of railway track to try out the span unfortunately, so here's hoping!
