Coastal Command SIG Shows 2017
Posted: August 14th, 2017, 6:29 pm
Hi all,
just a repeat of the messages I've posted all over the place!
The first OFFICIAL 'outing' for the reformed Coastal Command SIG will be
SMW 2017, November 11th -12th at the Telford International Centre.
If our request can be acted on, Coastal will be alongside the Bomber Command SIG in Hall 3.
For the IPMS members, you will find our 'Birth Certificate' in the new magazine, Issue 4, UKLO section.
SIG leaders info. is on there, my contact details are on the IPMS / SIG web site,
'cos I get to answer all your letters!!
We'll be glad to see ALL members, past and present and anybody that's interested over the week-end!
You can ALWAYS contact me here via P.M, and I'm quite happy to supply my e-mail addy.
I know that the periods '36 - '39 and '46 - '69 are in the minority, BUT, if anyone has a SaRo London, or a Lerwick!
or a few "Old Grey Ladies" (Mk.1, 2 OR 3!) up in their lofts or 'Glory Holes' bring 'em along.........PLEASE!
Also a 'shout' for C.C. Equipment, Pinnacles, Launches etc. already had the offer from Chris, (chrism)
THANK YOU Chris, but anything else will be great
Should there be ANY members of the Cornwall Scale Modellers / IPMS Cornwall or the
Classic Air Force Museum at St.Mawgan on here, PLEASE get in touch!
Been talking to T7 Models in Truro, he's put us on his 'links' page, I even have a 'sort of' promise
(amazing what an 'arm twist' can do! thanks T7 ) of a Lancaster for the Sunday,
AND I'll KEEP ON reminding you!
That it for now, all the best,
Paul
