Sorry Tom, but due to a deteriorating family health situation it looks highly unlikely I'll be able to finish the Hastings in time, and might even have to abandon the Defiant GB to become a UAMF lurker for a while until I'm more certain of what's going to happen. Most of my time is now spent between work and Hospital wards and they seem to have a dim view of setting up modelling tables by bedsides. Sorry.

Thanks for keeping me updated Julian, you have my deepest sympathies for the ongoing issue. Never fear there is always next year.

So by this time next week those of us fortunate enough to be at SMW will have survived the first day and I hope that the CC display will be up to a standard that we can all be proud of.

Really I just want to say thankyou to everyone who has contributed this year whether models were completed or not, it hasn't been an easy one by any stretch of the imagination for many of us and the fact that you all gave everything you could has really been fantastic.

I couldn't have foreseen this time last year that I would have been asked to lead a SIG and without all of your support I honestly don't think I would have had a clue about what to do!
