Sign-up and Chat
Re: Sign-up and Chat
Wow. Tough decision. I did the Fiat in a blitz last year and it went together without much fuss. The Su27 would be rather cool to do.

Re: Sign-up and Chat
Still not sure which kit(s) will get the blitz but I am looking.
Re: Sign-up and Chat
I thought of doing a 1/48th Spitfire XVI for this GB, but I need lettering for the serials under the wings.
I've found some on Hannants' website, and if they're the right size/shape, and I can get them in time, then this one might be in.

Re: Sign-up and Chat
I had hoped this blitzbau would be my return to the world of modelling. But sadly I have no time, as I started playing chess again one month ago. My plan was to blitz two kits the last weekend in February, but that weekend I will be away for league chess event, qualification match against northern division winner, where the winner gets to a playoff with four teams, for two spots in Elite Division (highest of them all). So I need to prepare as well!
What I will do, is either save those two kits I had in mind, for August Blitzbau, or do them in a quick build event ala Sissel's Superbly Late Blitzbau sometime in March.
Lotta great builds here I see!

Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

Re: Sign-up and Chat
Good luck with the chess qualifiers and we'll hopefully see your blitzes soon or in August!
Best wishes

Such great intentions I had, to do a couple this past week, but a very bad cold knocked me out of kilter and into bed for most of it. Maybe next blitz.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

It's going around the Northern Hemisphere Fred. My household has been clobbered with it. Think August.

Ok all. I would like to thank everyone who participated in Blitzbau XVI. There were many great builds and entertaining threads. I will recommend to John to shut 'er down until next time.
Cheers everybody.
