0900 EST and good progress along the way.

Engine painted and mounted.

Pin holes smoothed down.

And the time hack with the state of play. Seam lines cleaned up but panel lines need to be replaced.

Horizontal stabs will remain off until the tri-color scheme is put on. Easier masking. But you knew that.

Good looking build, and a very tidy workbench. I actually didn't think of leaving the horizontal stabilizers off for easier masking, but it seems so obvious now. Thanks for the tip and keep up the good work.

That is a ridiculously tidy bench!

Good progress on the build, and a nice selection of accompanying characters!
Best wishes

Thank you gents for looking in on me.

As I approach hour four it seemed that a little bomb detailing was in order. I drilled out places for the fuses.

Time hack and the Hellcat has legs.

With everything working so well I decided to pre-shade and paint the lower surfaces with Tamiya white. Intermediate Blue up next.

Time got a way from me this time. Well......when you're having fun..........

It was a long time before I released that this was a UK band.

Sixth hour and the Intermediate Blue is on.

I will mention that the colors are PolyScale and as you know they are out of business which to me is quite sad.

Are we feeling old yet?

Camo scheme roughed in to the point where I can think about gloss cots and a long cold one.
