Getting near the end. Watching and waiting.

You had us all sweating there Daren. As it happens, we needn't have worried. I bet you've gone out for a pint now whilst the paint dries

Actually, I went and made my tea and stuck a DVD on. Tonight's film is the Studio Ghibli film The Wind Rises.

The Wind Rises eh - have you been indulging in Ian's "Beans for the Blitz" diet?

Anyway, after my tea, I put together the wee bits that finish off the actual building process:
Prop, cannopy and undercarriage all installed. Just need to touch up some black areas, then it's on to the decals.

Coming along very well Daren. Time for tea here now and I don't know if I'll manage to get on later. Best of luck!

And she's.... DONE!
The real Spitfire had all traces of identification, including the serial number, removed while Tom Neil "owned" her. The only markings carried were the RAF roundels and flashes.
So, there we are. If I hadn't had a three-hour gap in between building, I would have finished this MUCH sooner!

Thanks for the kind words, folks!
Like I said, if I hadn't had the three-hour break in the middle, I'd have been finished MUCH sooner!

The cat did a great job. And not a hair on the paintwork anywhere! Well done!
