00.30 hrs and it was finally time to paint the model starting with the white undercoat for the dayglo.

Alluminium came next-

Then Dayglo-

And Dayglo-

More Dayglo-

And even more Dayglo (and a little black)-

Then the decals went on, by which time I was worn out- I needed to sleep and just had to stop for a while.

One nap later it was 09.25 and work begins again.

Orange is horrible to work with but it looks like you have its measure. Great work!

This is looking great David, it really is. Proper hardcore night shift Blitzing too - I'm not man enough for that I'm afraid and would have probably fallen asleep, head down into the collection of kit parts, by 2.00am :ha:
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Oh wow, it's done and that looks like you've sweated over it for a lot longer than 24 hours! A great Blitz David 8-)

Not the nicest kit in the world but a lot of work has gone into that, David. I'm especially impressed with the orange. I know how hard it is to paint that stuff. I Blitzed the same kit back in 2009 and you've put in a lot more work than I did. And you didn't paint the whole top of the canopy!

Silver & Day-Glo, not the best choices for a Blitz, but you've nailed it quite well !!

And Completion #1 - sets the bar quite high !

Excellent, very well done.
A brave man to do such fettling and difficult paints on a Bltizer.
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Brilliant start to the Bitzbau season!
Seeing you do that to that standard in 24 hours makes me wonder why it takes me so long to achieve a lesser standard!!
Awesome work David
Best wishes

Jim
