Looks like a decent enough kit David. Best of luck!

I've never built an AZ kit, but looking at your previous builds I'm sure this is going to end up looking very smart!

They don't have locating pins and the sprue gates can sometimes interfere with the parts fit but with a little care in cleaning up the parts they will build up a treat Ian.

The first steps were to paint the cockpit and assemble the wings, the clock has been moved to tighten the shots.

The first stage in assembling the wing is to fit the inner U/C leg recesses parts 5 and 6, these are wrongly numbered and fit on the opposite side to those indicated by the instructions.
Image

The wings have now been assembled, the next step is to fit the full span wing tips parts 36 and 37.

The wing tips are here shown in place.

The cockpit parts have been painted and are currently being assembled.

They look better from the top than from underneath splash as they are slightly thinner than they should be.

The cockpit parts have been painted, removed from the sprues and have been assembled ready for the fuselage to be assembled in turn. Filler has been applied to the wing as needed.
Image

The tailwheel bay opening has been cut away as per the instructions and the bay roof has been formed with car filler (replacing part 60) and cyano'd in place. The cockpit units are complete and are ready to be fitted. The wing tips and the ejector chutes have been built up with filler and sanded down.
Image

The cockpits have been fitted into the fuselage and the two halves have been glued together.

The wing has been glued in place under the fuselage, this will be left to dry before continuing.
