Nice start. Will you see much once the canopy is on?

The wheel wells have been cleared out at the wing root joints and the wing has been glued together.

Great start David. And Iggie, Blitz's are not for the weak. Good Blitz food and lighter fluid? Ok, we will see where that goes.

Not that much O_T hence the simplified approach.
LOL Jeff, the lighter fluid is used to thin enamels for brushing and also to flush out my airbrush after use.

Not much to report ATM as I am literally waiting for (enamel) paint to dry inside the fuselage.

Lighter fluid for cleaning out an airbrush! Does that work?

The engine has been assembled and is being painted, the cockpit has been painted in enamel and the fuselage has been glued together.

The wheelbay has been boxed in with thin plastic card.

Lighter Fluid has always worked for me O_T, it pushes out any water from the rinsing out, it dissolves any acrylic residue and dries out the interior of the airbrush when the gun has emptied itself of the fluid as it evaporates very quickly in the airstream.

The enamel slowed things down Splash but that is now out of the way and the pace can pick up.

Thanks for the tip David. I will give it a go. Any concerns about it damaging washers etc?

Nice progress by the way. Lets see how well the wings fit to the fuselage.

I haven't had any problems with my airbrush using this fluid O_T.
The wing has been glued down and it fitted just fine.

The wing has been joined to the fuselage and is being left to dry for a short while.
