Tim's Airfix Sherman. ** Finished **
My first build for this Blitz will be the classic (?) Airfix Sherman Tank. One colour, not too many parts, what could possibly go wrong?

This should be a good subject for blitzing, good luck.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

First kit? A promise for a multiple Blitz. Love it.

Re: Tim's Airfix Sherman. ** Started **
First up a shot of the parts laid out at 4.00pm.
After the first hour I've got the hull and turret assembled and the turret has had a coat of primer.
Then photobucket started playing up and it took half an hour to get the bloomin' photos uploaded.

Going well. Hope the tracks cooperate. They look very pliable.

This is an old classic, that took one for the team against Tigers and Panthers in quite a few wargames in my youth Best of luck. As others have said, the main issue could be getting the tracks to play ball. In my first Blitz a couple of years ago I tried a Matchbox Comet tank and it was the bally tracks that scuppered it for me. Hopefully you will have no probs.

Since the last update the turret and suspension have been given a coat of green.
Meanwhile the hull has been primed.

Any plans on how you are going to get the tracks in place?
