A Bearcat in the Blitzbau House *** DNF ***
The Blitzbau House will be open for business this Friday starting 7pm approx.
(these times are always speculative as we meet in the pub before hand. )
Cosmic will be building an Italeri 1/35 Kubelwagen
I am doing this:
It is bigger than my usual scale but it is HobbyBoss so should go together well.
This is what the box contains:4 sprues:
Instructions:
My chosen colour scheme:
Rumour has it that Finnski (some of you old timers will remember him ) is turning up to do a T-34 for some war-game or other.
This will be a macho straight 24 hour Blitz. I might even wear my Batman onesie for your amusement.

This is sounding great so far. The Bearcat is ever popular in the Blitzbau.
And the pre-mission briefing is so underrated.
We will be waiting and watching.

Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

We will be waiting, but I'm not so sure about watching if there's a Batman onesie being threatened
Best wishes

We have just got back from a pre-blitz fish & chip dinner. Unfortunately Cosmic cannot make it. I think he is very unwell, turning down drink & plastic. Hope to kick off soon.

Good luck with the blitz OT, we had fish & chips for tea tonight by way of moral support from darn Sarf!
Look forward to seeing the progress although with a certain amount of trepidation in case you've got the webcam turned on....

Ok. Time to kick off.
Just me & Paul so far watching the England v Wales rugby.
Plenty of vino, Pringles but only one Toblarone!
7:30 start with a straight 24 hours build. Once again I have done no prep so best start with the cockpit.
Here we go.

First step interior green.
Now read the instructions whilst drinking Echo Falls & eating Pringles. God save the queen on the box.

Sorry for the lack of updates. This BT internet connection reminds me of those old dial up modems.
Anyway, Finnski has arrived & in a few minutes has assembled a T-34!
Time check:
In the mean time I have done this :
More to follow.
