Miguelito's FW-190A3 *** FINISHED ***
Re: Miguelito's FW-190A3 *** FINISHED ***
Well done. Great blitz and remarkable handling of the building issues. Really looks great.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

Impressive finished model. Certainly doesn't look Blitzed, which is the sign of a good Blitz! Well done.
So, when are you cracking out the Flanker?

Very nice. It looks like a very much more expensive kit than it is.
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Very Very nice; and an excellent finish given Blitz circumstances!
That canopy is exceptionally clear; did you dip it at all?

Thanks to all for the compliments.
Can't I just enjoy this one for a little while longer? Actually, maybe during the August Blitz, because I don't see myself getting the time to put in another Blitz this week.
It really was an enjoyable Blitz, with a nice kit to build. With 2 completed this GB, I think I'll call it quits until the next time. Thanks.
Thanks, Ian.Ian wrote:Impressive finished model. Certainly doesn't look Blitzed, which is the sign of a good Blitz! Well done.

Thanks. Fred! I couldn't agree more. If I were to just judge a book by the cover, the box art and the "E-Z Snapz Snap Together Model" logo on the front of the box make it look pretty lame. My local LHS had it for just about $10, but our local model club members get a discount, so I was able to pick it up for single-digits. It builds into a decent representation of the Focke Wolf.fredk wrote:Very nice. It looks like a very much more expensive kit than it is.
Thanks, Iggie. I did dip it in some Future, but I'm not sure it was needed, the canopy is crystal clear straight out of the box. In fact, I was worried that I'd smudge it up dipping it and considered leaving it as is.iggie wrote:Very Very nice; and an excellent finish given Blitz circumstances!
