Yes, well done. An interesting adaptation of that scheme. I might have considered not doing the white patch in front of the cockpit, or maybe making it longer like an antiglare panel - but that's only my musings.

I pondered over this myself for quite a while and I am still not really happy with my final choice. I wanted to get as close to the original scheme as I could, hence the final outcome.

Actually I am using the time to rearrange my hobby room as I have recently obtained a couple of new display cabinets. Picture's to follow.

Excellent! It's a really nice finish and as others have commented, does not actually look too out of place (unexpectedly!)

I was prepared not too like this much being a bit leery of some what ifs? but not this one, it was a real WOW moment when I saw it, you've done a beaut job on this & somehow it looks really right.
