Re: Brickie's Polish Spit
Fuselage and wings assembled, with a nasty seam on the nose...
I don't know if I did something wrong, but I found closing the fuselage a bit of a pain as the cockpit assembly seemed a bit too wide. Anyone else have this?
Anyway, nose joint fettled and ... first adventures in pre-shading! (sorry about the lighting but you get the idea)

Re: Brickie's Polish Spit
That's very tidy shading!
Best wishes

Re: Brickie's Polish Spit
If that's the new-tool version, I had that as well. You need to do a bit of sanding of the cockpit bits to get that closed up properly.Brickie wrote:Fuselage and wings assembled, with a nasty seam on the nose...

Basic camo is on.
Only trouble is, I've gone and lost the decal sheet so things may slow down in a bit while I turn the house upside-down and then inevitably send Mr Hannant a fiver for a new one...

And having received the new one from Hannants you find the original. Oh yes we've all been there

Re: Brickie's Polish Spit
It's the surest way to guarantee finding it, certainly. Well, if I do, I'll just have to build more PZLs, which would be a real bind now, wouldn't it...

Lovely paint job. Have you put a wash over the panel lines or is it a trick of the light?

Incidentally, if anyone's wondering, the colours are Polish Blue and Polish Khaki by Agama. I've never found a UK supplier, but get it from Jadar Hobby in Warsaw.

Re: Brickie's Polish Spit
I've finished it as much as I can before decalling, so while I wait for the care package from Hannant's, I'll leave these here, taken in what passes for natural light today.
as an aside, should there be something in that circular hole forward of the cockpit? There's no part listed.
