Post by TobyC »

This will be one captured by the Poles and used against the Germans with a very interesting result.
More later.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Shortly after the Germans invaded Poland a JU87 landed near Krakow due to an engine malfunction. The crew were shot by the Polish but the plane remained intact and the engine problems were rectified. Soon a plan was hatched by the Poles to use the Stuka that would change the war forever.

More details will follow as the plot thickens. ;-)
I'm using the Revell Ju87 B for this and the decals come from a selection of odds and ends I have.

Nicely detailed cockpit area. I'm pleasantly surprised how good some Revell kits are. They don't seem to get many accolades these days.

That's come up well. Perhaps a wash to bring out the latticework of the gunner's seat?
