Stuck a bit of large sprue for a mount point in the fuselage.

After a bit of tidy up and attention to the radiator exit, got a coat of primer on.

Let her dry, then start the painting. Must say really enjoying this kit, great fitting, apart from my fumbling sticking things together.
Have start digging out some decals for it.

The Academy Tempest is a nice looking and fitting little kit. Looking forward to seeing it in its new colour scheme.

Looking good, Jim. Your paintwork always seems very neat and precise. I generally have a coloured fingerprint somewhere on the paint by this stage.

So more masking and another paint puffing session and we have...

Tonight's round of mask and paint puff..

Dark green over the stripes, with a touch of black added to create just covered black stripes.

Hopefully last mask and paint puff tomorrow night..

Yep, but very neat. Any chance of doing a tutorial on your painting / masking techniques? It looks like I at least could learn something.
