It's a bit lighter than that. But looks more like the prewar colour

It turned out to be an insignia blue panel, as I couldn't find the black

But it looks okay to me.

I might even get a decal or two on tonight.

It looks pretty nice already!

I may finish this without a pilot, and add weight in the cockpit.

The 3-F-1 codes need to go on over the red fuselage stripe. I'm going to leave them until the rest are dry.

All decals now on.

Canopy is the original from the kit. In two minds about using it, but I'm short on time, so carving up the vacform one might not happen!

With some framing and a little pva around the edges, it'll look the business.

Oh, just had a thought! Channelling Migrant, if you carefully paint the joining edge of the canopy with black before installing, you'll kill the refraction that helps give away the thickness of the transparency. Well, OK, you'll still not be able to see the cockpit details through it, but it will make a difference.

Oh yes, very smart. Will the inside of the airbrakes be getting a contrasting colour? Red would be nice.

Got the weight in the nose.

Currently gluing the main wheels on. I had to shorten the main undercarriage by a couple of mm.
