The Eagle has landed!! (sorry, couldn't resist!!). Here is the McDonnell Douglas Eagle F.Mk.1, 92 Squadron RAF, 1991.

And the state of play with the Galaxy. Probe underway, I do have a small bit to go on the end that will have the probe attachment part, but as it will glue flat surface to flat surface with this part it's being left off until the last minute!!.
Wings are also underway with painting.

Thanks chaps, very pleased with the Eagle if I'm honest, and didn't quite put in as much effort as my best ever Eagle!!.

MarkyM607 these would look really nice on the Cold War SIG's table if you ever fancied displaying them at a show?

Mark,

Please put a couple of pics of your bad-boy F-15 in the "Completed Builds" folder, would you? Including you, we've got 5 finishers thus far and it's too good not to get a glamour shot in there.

Just a quick update on the Galaxy, should be done before the end!!!. As the Fighter/Interceptor version of the Tornado didn't exist in my F-15 RAF What-If I have appropriated Tornado F.2 codes for the Galaxy!!.

Not sure if I should have put the roundel where the serial is and vice versa but hey ho!!.

The Eagle looks fabulous in RAF colours!
Best wishes

your Galaxy isn't far away, either. I like the long chord cowlings. They have the 'double take' factor.

Thanks chaps, Iggie I have to agree, every time I looked at it the scheme just looked right!, like the Eagle belonged in those colours. The Galaxy now has her wings on, the engines are supposed to be RB.211's, they do make you look twice Martin, especially as the actual kit/aircraft engine cowlings are half the length of these.

Galaxy finished last night. Here are one or two pics of the finished aircraft. Not too many markings on her, probably should have more but can address that in the future!.

Two very good completions. I do like the Eagle and I'm no longer confused. Actually I'm not sure why I was in the first place. Probably post pub
