Yes this model goes together very quickly with no bother at all, and the next job is the paintwork, which I guess is what this whif is all about.Jagewa wrote:Speedy, you'll be at paint in no time.

Re: despondman's Tiger Meet Hurricane
This morning I did a paint test.
1. Does the orange need to be painted over white? 2. Is the overall idea okay?
Found that the orange does not want to be over white as it makes it a little too bright, and I think the overall idea will work okay. I'll strip this paint off now and start the painting proper.

Re: despondman's Tiger Meet Hurricane
Depending on the effect I'm after I would normally paint orange over grey for a duller effect, yellow for a more vibrant one as in DayGlo or red for a deeper one. Yellow may be what you're looking for. and that is looking really nice so far, great paintwork

Thanks Kitaholic, thanks Marky. It seemed when I tried it that the duller effect suited better, but might just try the yellow to see what it looks like.MarkyM607 wrote:I would go with a grey too.

Re: despondman's Tiger Meet Hurricane
I didn't like the orange paint I had planned to use and had to wait a few days before I could get a better alternative.
Now the Hurricane is a nice orange and white. Next job the stripes.
