Phil,

That's good progress on a very attractive scheme.

Please don't rush and risk spoiling it to make the deadline. Extensions can be arranged for deserving souls . . .

regards,

Martin

Thanks Martin, appreciate it.

Also trying to get a blitz done today but figure I have time to work on both (now the other 3 GBs I am signed up for may have to wait a day or 2).

Thanks guys.

Put some Future on it so should be ready for decals. Might try and put a couple on tonight. Got to find some serials for it (may not match the profile) and think the code letters will come from some rub ons I have.

Will see how things pan out but should be able to finish by the new deadline.

Can't believe this is my first aircraft kit over 2 years.

Ok, still not sure if I will finish on time but got the decals on. I guess.

Stole the serials off an old Hasagawa P-47D kit and the codes are old Railroad dry transfers.

Still, looks pretty neat in these markings if I say so myself.

Still to do:
Spray dullcote and take off masking
Clean up overspray and add rearview mirror
Cut apart landing gear doors
Add landing gear
Add antenna
Paint and add bombs (may not get done)
Paint and add exhausts
Weather (yeah, who am I kidding. If it gets a little exhaust spray and some dirt on the wheels will be lucky)

So, we shall see, only have until 3:59 pm my time to complete and have the dentist at 12:20 so will loose an hour and a half there.

It does indeed, Phil! I hope you get it finished in time, but if not, no worries. I look forward to seeing pics of it complete in due course.

Martin
