I'm sure you can do it Daren, you are getting very close to the end and the GB doesn't close until midnight on Sunday.

I'll hopefully have it done by the end of today. It is gonna be REALLY close, though!

With less than three hours to go, "Big Ass Bird 2" is done:
I'm not 100% happy with it - the serial number folded up on itself so that I couldn't unfold it, the invasion stripes are wonky, and the wings look streaky in the photos (not so much in the flesh, though), but it looks not bad for an untrained eye like mine! I'll make up a couple of serials to put on the fin later.

It looks great Daz, and very cheerful!
Best wishes

Terrific colour scheme Daren, shame about the decals as when they go wrong there is little we can do about it without buying replacements.

Thanks, chaps.
My impressions of the kit are that it was nicely engineered and a piece of cake to put together. Those big(!) locating pins inside the fuselare were a massive help in getting the halves aligned, plus keeping the cockpit where it's supposed to be before you glue it all in.
Any hamfistedness was purely down to my part!
