Very nice Toby - that looks great! I do like the early OD Razorback Thunderbolts and that's a corker!

Super job Toby, really nice.

I think I am going to have a similar issue with the fuselage decal folding over the vent thingy, so thanks for the tips on that.

Really nice model Toby, it captures the muscular look of the Jug very well.

Zee, the vent thingies on the sides of the fuselage are called Intercooler Exhaust Doors- they let hot air out.

Cheers David, I did wonder. I didn't think 'Vent thingies' is an acceptable term in aviation circles!

According to the Airfix decaling guide my decals go completely over them at one end, rather that partially over them like Toby's, which might make things easier for me. A fresh bottle of Microsol is on standby!

I think the correct term is 'Vent Gubbins'!. Vent doodahs is acceptable in emergencies!!. :-D

Thanks for the positive comments guys. If I may be so bold but I think this was one of my better builds since returning to the hobby a couple of years back.

Call them anything, but in this day and age do not refer to them as IED's

Looking at the finished article Toby you can be as bold as you like, it is a real cracker and one to be proud of.
