Marky's Hasegawa P-47D ***FINISHED***
Re: Marky's Hasegawa P-47D
Aaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!. Excuse me. For the second GB in a row, the decals have failed and left me half finished with them. The Stars and Bars went on fine but the codes and nose art broke up in the water, I could scrape them off the paper like they were paint!!. Sigh. I don't trust any of the other decals so can't use those and it would mean a total repaint anyway. I will see if I can print some off as I don't really have anything appropriate in the spares box.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Here she is, all painted, decalled and dressed up ready to go!!. Serious Thanks to Lancfan for the decals, a real life saver on this one! .
.
Enjoyed the kit but the decals were a major disappointment. Luckily someone had replacements that saved me time and money!!.
The radio mast is a flimsy but adequate replacement and wing mounted pitot tube is as well. Broke both the originals of course!!.

Nice job on that one Mark & a good recovery from disaster thanks to Davids spare decals. I'm impressed by the way they've gone on, they sure look good to my eye.
