iggie's Thunderbolt of Lightning ***FINISHED***
My GB entry:
Hasegawa RAF Mk II Thunderbolt No. 73 OTU
I've even bought some zinc chromate for the interior
It's the top one on the box art:
Sprues and decals

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

I got this a while back. It was on special offer from Japan. Looking forward to seeing you build it.

We got ours at the same time Toby IIRC; Hobbylink wasn't it?TobyC wrote:I got this a while back. It was on special offer from Japan. Looking forward to seeing you build it.

Yes we did. I think you got yours a few weeks before I did although we ordered them about the same time. Only fitting you should start yours first.iggie wrote:We got ours at the same time Toby IIRC; Hobbylink wasn't it?TobyC wrote:I got this a while back. It was on special offer from Japan. Re: iggie's Thunderbolt of Lightning
Got off to a flying start this evening and painted the internals with the required zinc chromate
Then realised that I'd started the wrong one!
That'll teach me to put things back in the stash if not actually being built
So, start for real tomorrow

Re: iggie's Thunderbolt of Lightning
We have progress: Zinc chromate applied; I'm using Vajello Air with a brush.
So there
Actually there's a bit more than shown above as the wings are now glued together but not yet attached to the fuselage

Re: iggie's Thunderbolt of Lightning
Considering how many of us build hasegawa's jug, we should have a group build of a nameboard
But seriously, you're speeding along quite nicely
