Very very nice - that's a real looker. The USAAF NMF bird really did look cool didn't they? especially withthe half D-Day stripes.
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...

I had to check my eyes many times over to make sure that the decal instructions really want me to do only part of stripes :). And still, when I went to airbrush it, I put white underneath wings anyway ... on autopilot. :)

Well, closing on with Gooch. Right now it is in a dirt-tent :) covered with dirty turpentine (happened after I took pictures). Otherwise it is very very close to completion.

Nice one Marek, thats going to look a treat. You're braver than I doing a NM finish, I'll do just about anything else but that, though the D-day stripes help. A striking scheme for all my predjudice though. :)

An excellent build. Graham would be proud. If you're not into cricket this might be lost on you ;-)

Super! When I look at your Thunderbolt and the others from this GB, I think that another P-47 I also do in the NMF.
Waiting for wash the and end of the your work.

PS. Sometimes is good looking for yours photo. Pitot tube - if I did not see it in your photo, I almost forgot to do in my model. ;)

I admit, I had to look up since Cricket is something quite unknown to me. Graham Gooch! I should have made new decals for starboard side saying 'Graham' :). Now my question is: Is there some curse following the guys? My Gooch lost a pitot tube yesterday 2 seconds after I started putting oil wash on it :). This was second time and carpet monster was ready.

Hi Guys.
Goosh is finished and not KAPUT. :)

More in aircraft gallery, however I have to admit that it is far from ideal due to self-inflicted wounds - lost pitot tube, bad paint mixes (gloss and satin in near zero temp), the fact that original decals were ... shot up into oblivion (no stencils, good I has still some left from Revell and Superscale decals). Summing up, I made a bold decision to not drag it, out of sheer fear that the next thing will be dropping it on a floor. That said, in reality it was a pure adrenaline and pleasure build (No I am not bipolar :) ). Enough screw-ups, drama and excitement to raise a dead from the grave.

I'd be happy if all my kits turned out like that.

Very neat and pretty job. This GB is seeing some beautiful work done on these old Hasegawa kits.
