P-47 "Jug" Przemka *** FINISHED ***
Hi All!
I have long wondered whether to start the Thunderbolt. I very very very and once again very promised myself in the New Year, that I do not start another new model, before I finish a dozen-started.
But I signed up on the list of participants, so... I hope - isn't too late, and the gates to Heaven I will not be completely closed for me.. ;)
My model is the "classic" Revell 1/72 Thunderbolt. These are the same molds that this company is all packed into boxes with this model. Add only different weapons and decals.
In the first version I had to do the Thunderbolt "Pengie V" Captain Gładych from 56 FG. But it would be very similar to the plane captain Łanowski. And two of the same on the shelf... Hmmm...
I decided to do a plane painted by Revell instructions. I checked the material available on the internet. And due to the simplification of the manual Revell I will base on MicroScale instruction sheet about P-47M UN-M "Dottie Dee II" capt.Ch.T.McBrath.
I do not know what will select colors - some similar to Azzurra Blue and the other blue. Different materials (articles, descriptions of models and decals) give different colors and FS. But none is known with certainty. So I mixed something.
And at the moment I have painted cockpit model (interior green - Pactra A-35), engine (Humbrol 27002), repaired propeller and and wings. (The model is simple, but in my - from second hand - was missing several pieces, and a few were warped and broken.)

Thank you for kind words! Always welcome
A little progress for today. Primer on model (acrylic in spray to plastic in cars ) and preshading by black Pactra.
Painted propeller, wheels and bombs. Maybe tomorrow first painting in metallic alu.

Przemek,
this one is really nicely shaping up. I cannot wait for decals. I have to admit to you that your remark is spot on with regards to our tempo . I wonder why is it.
