Why? :)
For me - I know this model. I know, what Revell done wrong in it. And it's easier for me to get around. And I like the P-47 :)
In ancient times (70-80 twentieth century :)) Thunderbolt, Lightning, Airacobra, Spitfire were like Batman, Terminator and Dirty Harry today. Indestructible. And in Poland inaccessible (except for a few models of cardboard). Communism collapsed, I grew up. But sentiment remained;) For airplanes behind the "Iron Curtain", of course :)
So each next P-47 makes me happy as well :) And that's why I put down the F-89, IS-2, Su-22 and a few other models to do this :)

Decals already applied. I had to use a lot of fluid Mr.Mark Setter so nicely arranged. In this model Revell did decals the same as the old, thick and hard were the decals from the Academy.
Regards!

Hi there!
Decals located, Mr.Mark Setter deal with them perfectly.
Remains now is to secure decals a glossy varnish. Tomorrow wash, satin varnish and some scratches, discoloration and in the nnext days sticking the rest: landing gear, drop tank and bombs. I think at the end of the week my Thunerbolt stand on their own feet :)

That's taking shape very nicely and it's always a good feeling when decals go on well as yours have.

Yesterday and today enduring the last - I hope - the works. If I have not to do tomorrow any correct, I will do a few photos to the collection and gallery, and the model on the shelf.
I do not know when, how, where and why broke off a piece of the antenna - 2mm. Forgive me, but that I would not have improved. Antenna cable I have done with threads stretched with tights. The antenna and the engine cowling flaps break me once again. Such is the charm of Revell models. Or fate;)

Przemek, Dottie looks splendid! With the fiddly pieces, the war is lost before we start it :). Antenna mast looks good, I would not worry about it.

Hi. I'm done :)
In addition to the described problems with the flaps and antenna mast have not had any major problems.
I think, it is finished model, but as I look at him any longer, I see the more things to improve.
But I will not do anything with it.
This is also my first relationship started and completed on the any modellers forum. So big thank you all for your support :)
Molly - "little" display is a nominal, never used piston from Szwiecow M-11 (shvietsov?) engine mounted at the soviet Po-2 "Kukuruźnik". This piston for many years served as an... ashtray for my friend.
