Daz's nocturnal Schwalbe - NON-RUNNER

Post by DazDaMan »

I shall be contributing this wee beast to the GB:

Never built this particular version before, so hopefully there's nothing to be wary of here.

I am wondering, however, if it would be possible to do it as one of the new-build aircraft currently flying in the States...?

Daz,

It's a lovely wee kit. The single seater is let down by a badly fitting and flash ridden canopy, so hope the two-seater's is better.

Some say that the 'sit' of the completed model is a bit nose down instead of nose up, but that may not be an issue for you.

regards,

Martin

And don't forget the nose weight!
Best wishes

Well, I think my late granddad had a buttload of fishing weights, so they might be useful! :-D

I used a lot of weight on mine and it was still touch and go quite literally on whether it sat nose down or up ;-)

Not quite, Toby, although it was next in the queue after the Thunderbolt.

As I've mentioned in the Thunderbolt thread, I'm thinking I need to start looking for a new job, given the stress that the current one puts me under on a daily basis. I can probably put in another couple of GB subjects, but I'm gonna have to think about devoting some of my spare time to looking for other gainful employment.... :???:

That's a pretty good reason. Good luck with the job hunting.
