If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Me too. I considered it for this GB but don't think I would have finished it in time.
Great choice. 8-)

Cockpit painted and installed, notice the rear gunner's seat where he also has all the engine instruments, the throttles and the radio equipment. Up front only one set of flying controls, so the other seat is occupied by what is purely a bomb aimer. How does the pilot fly the plane when he has to constantly shout for throttle settings?

Thanks Toby, considering it's a whif kit, there's a lot more detail than you get on a lot of "real" kits. Bit more work done.

Managed to acquire some lead sheet for ballast. 32g according to instructions, bit more in there now. No way she's tail sitting :ha:

Main parts together now

Bomb bay closed up for version I have decided on
Image

From past experience, exhausts and intakes are glued to the lower nacelle before adding the upper. No way they go in otherwise
Image

Dry fitted for general look, nacelle will be fitted after painting to make life easier, again from past experience

Thanks for looking
