Looks brill OT. You could always decal around the nacelles and paint them one of the shades of grey or something else altogether

Thanks guys. I am pretty please with it so far. It will look different at least.

Hopefully I can press on with it now as I am nearly finished with the P-47 build.

That looks brilliant! Hope the decals conform well over the less-flat areas!

Been having some decal issues with this one. Pleased to say not my home made decals but the kit supplied ones!
I finished the digital camo and coated the whole kit with klear and applied a few select decals from the kit & spares box. I'm not a big fan of stencils so kept things to a minimum. Unfortunately the large walkway decal refuses to settle down. It could be because it is going down on top of another decal? All the others have been fine.

Anyway I have soaked it for a third time in Microsol. If that does not work it is out with the scalpel. :???:

Apart from that all I have to do is Klear coat to seal everything in then a varnish coat, probably satin & she is done.
This is where we stand today:

Not a bad result as it was really just an experiment in doing a digital camo. Something a bit different from Spitfires.

That looks utterly brilliant OT :-D
I had problems with the walkway decals on mine when I did it; in the end after wrestling with one side I cut the other side into 5 smaller sections......much easier
Best wishes

You've done an amazing job getting the camo decals to work over the nacelles. Well done OT!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I learned a lot. If I had my time over I would cut the decal into small blocks and apply those, getting each one settled down before moving on. Unfortunately I was pushed for time as I broke my own rule about not signing up for more than 1 group build at a time. We live and learn.

I will post some better pictures ASAP.
