Another first for me. Not seen this before. They were busy little bees the Germans.

Well, if you were trying to stop your design team being conscripted and sent to the Russian front, you had to find things for them to do.

I noticed your's and Kit's comments below. I must be a complete klutz coz I couldn't get anything on mine to fit properly. It felt like a Dragon tooling, but I'm happy to be told it wasn't the kits fault. I may have to get another and try again.

Iggie,

Forgive me for the off-topic interjection above. I hope yours goes together well and I look forward to seeing it progress. Just remember: if you make it gear up, the nose gear makes a great Beaufighter tailwheel!

regards,

Martin

No problems Martin, I'm afraid that so far I've not experienced any fit problems although I've only got as far as buttoning up the fuselage.
It's going to be wheels down too so a lost opportunity there!

Nice work. It's quite reminiscent of the DH twin boomers. I wonder if that's where they got the idea from?

Pretty cool. Was always impressed with that design.

Great work on that, think I'm going to have to get me another one. Will tell SWMBO that it's your fault ;-)

I don't think so, Toby; they came up with the design independently, from what I heard. However, it never gave performance figures sufficiently good to get put into production. Have you also noticed the small rocket booster underneath the jet outlet?

Looks like it goes together nicely. I have one in the stash so will watch how you get by.
