Don't be silly, you don't need to do BOTH of the Vb's!

Re: Marky's Spitfire family!
After much deliberation and bullying, I mean encouragement, from others(!), I have gone with the newer Vb, BUT, as a bit of rebelling I am also doing the older 1982 Vb.
So far the prop and cockpit floor/seat are done and painted. Fuselage ready to seal up once the prop is dry of black paint.

Re: Marky's Spitfire family!
Bit of a delayed update, work is still progressing. I have the Vb at the paint/decal stage and an Airfix Mk.22 nearly built. If I have time there is also the Italeri Mk.VI waiting....

Re: Marky's Spitfire family!
Finished!. Just noticed one or two gaps that need to be attended to in future but for now this is done. Markings are for 92 Squadron, 1941. Codes are probably the wrong colour but they are all I have in the right size at the moment!. Canon barrels are the finest cocktail stick technology as the kit ones appear to have vanished at some point.

Nice job, and good save with the cocktail sticks, are you going to do the prop tips yellow?

Re: Marky's Spitfire favourite(s) ***Vb FINISHED***
Probably only spotted it because I had forgotten to do the leading edge yellow on my F21s wings and only spotted it as I was lining up to take final photos. By the time I had painted them on and went back to take the photo, I found that I hadn't switched off the camera and the batteries were dud!MarkyM607 wrote:Darn it, someone noticed the props!!. .
