Look up and smile, Spitfire PRXIX *FILM GONE. FINISHED*

It's the good ol' YCNHTM Spitfire GB - any kit, any scale, any era, and mark, it's just got to be a Spitfire/Seafire ...

Indeed so, this is a very good kit and offers potential for a number of cross kit conversions.

Nice legs! (The kit, that is ) Very neat job on the paintwork too. I pinched your tip with the pencil on the intake grilles ;-)

Thanks guys. All ideas are for using, here's one for the tailwheel. Instead of trying to paint a nice tyre with a fine brush, paint the part the wheel hub colour, let dry, and then use an extra fine black Sharpie to fill in the tyre :)
Spitfire is now finished. Gave a final coat of Pledge, unmasked the cockpit and camera window, added pva glue to the belly camera windows, fit undercarriage, exhausts, and propeller, sit back and admire
Here's some shots

The box top showed what looks like a whip type aerial so I used a short length of this

Painted the fuselage colour and glued into a small hole I drilled. It's what is used to attach price tags and such to new clothes.
One final question, how do I post a link to this thread from the completed pics thread? Thanks
