Greg's build. pics now added

Post by Gregers »

I have sorted my kit out. Sorted the decals out. Now the delema. I have three ideas for the build. One is a Canadian Lanc post war, The other also post war in Silver with Yellow and Black underside and the last (and the one I may end up doing) is a tribute to my Nan. She worked in the AVRO factory at Yeadon and the subject of the Revell box 'Grogs the shot' was built there and I may use an Airfix kit with the Revell decals for the build. I'll decide later what to do.
Pics to follow.

All the best.

Go with the third option, Greg - there's nothing quite like honouring the family. :0)

That's six votes because Sarah agrees with you guys and said I should do the tribute build. Looks like it'll be 'Grogs the shot'. Anyway, I'm off to the loft to get the kit and decals on the bench for a photograph. Cheers for giving your votes guys, much appreciated.

All the best.

Hi Folks.
I haven't forgotten about this and have been plugging away with it and photo's taken. I'll get them uploaded as soon as my PB account is sorted (it wouldn't let me upload).

All the best.

Hi Folks. Having finally get Photobucket to do something (Why couldn't they have left it as it was, ie easier to use!!!) I can share some of the photo's I have taken.

Sorting a warped fuselage. Started at the rear and worked my way forward gluing a section at a time.
