This is a GB for the USAF "Century Series" Fighters, which seems to be the F-100 through F-106 - any kit, any scale, any variant, any markings.
This GB started from a thread here.
The GB runs from March 1st to 31st; your GBL is TobyC who will fill in any other info and arbitrate just what is or isn't a Century Series fighter.

Re: Sign-up and Chat
It will be a century series, probably the 106 but enough kits are in the stash to make it a decisions, decisions sort of deal.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Does anyone have a spare canopy for the Monogram 1:48 Delta Dart? It's my last 1:48 Century jet to build and it didn't have the clear parts when it arrived.

I just need to decide which F-104G to build, Heller, Hasegawa or Revell.

Re: Sign-up and Chat
Ill have to find my F104G first. I should even have two. Mistake on the data base, neither is in the box that it says one is in.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Re: Sign-up and Chat
That should provide me with a good opportunity to exercise NMF again with 1/72 Hasegawa F104

Re: Sign-up and Chat
I almost bought a suitable kit for this GB at Yeovilton yesterday. I stood at a stall with a 1/48 HobbyBoss F-100D in one hand and £20 in the other only for the vendor to ignore me while he continued to bump his gums yapping to somebody else. I stood there like a lemon for 5 minutes until I realised that this guy clearly wasn't interested in selling kits, put the Super Sabre back on the table and walked off. The other "customer" didn't buy anything

Several reasons for this -
The kit was free = walk off with it without paying
You were invisible = walk off with it without paying
He was blind = walk off with it without paying
He was an idiot = walk off with it without paying

Re: Sign-up and Chat
I won't be taking part in this build as I am being good and not buying kits just to do group builds. I have enough un-built kits it seems.
Will drop in and check on you guys from time to time. Good luck all.

I think I have an F100 in the stash so might be able to play.

It would great to have you aboard. I don't think anyone's totally committed to a Super Sabre yet.splash wrote:I think I have an F100 in the stash so might be able to play.
