Re: Toby's Dagger
All is revealed.
A few bits of overspray but nothing serious.
In the flesh it is darker than seen here.

Re: Toby's Dagger
Decalling has begun. A bit of a nightmare with the Texas Air Guard as I hadn't put enough gloss varnish down it grabbed and split but I think I've saved the day.

No. I'm getting a bit bored with tbh. It's not he best of kits and the sooner it's done the better as far as I'm concerned.Blueberryruby wrote:That's looking great! You going to add on the navigation lights?

Re: Toby's Dagger
Coming along really well, are the U.S titles in black or dark blue? I only ask because I got the Meng one and reading some reviews the say they should be blue and not black as in the kit. I begrudge spending another £10 for decals I will only use once. All the pics I have seen in my refs look black.
Reminds me of Father Ted telling Dougal that Priest's socks are black and you have to careful when buying because some are just very very dark blue!

Definitely black. The kit I got off ebay didn't have any decals so I got Xtradecals from Hannants. I've got quite a lot left if you're interested.shangos70 wrote:Coming along really well, are the U.S titles in black or dark blue? Re: Toby's Dagger
Cheers Toby, I'll stick with the kit ones I think as they are black and look quite nice. Thanks for the offer.

Re: Toby's Dagger
I have just been looking again at them and tbh they could be the deepest of dark blue ever to be near as black as makes no differnce.shangos70 wrote:Cheers Toby, I'll stick with the kit ones I think as they are black and look quite nice. Thanks for the offer.

Re: Toby's Dagger
Finished. Not overly happy with it for a variety of reasons but I was starting to lose interest and I find when that happens things just go from bad to worse.
