Re: The Blueberry Dart
I'm going to pledge it before i stick the doors on as they will make it super fiddly otherwise. Should be ready for decals tomorrow!

The decals are going on....
but i noticed that i didn't paint a small detail on the fin so i'm doing that before i put the fin decals on. I also need to add all the little ones.

Re: The Blueberry Dart
Dart is looking conspicuously good . This is very rewarding phase, is it not?

well they will both be one fine couple! You can blame Mrs Blueberry. I gave her the choice and she picked this scheme!jRatz wrote:Check your handbags at the door, pleaseMarkyM607 wrote:Oh no!, I think your 106 and mine will go to the GB party with the same outfit!!!!

The decals, weapons bay and under-carriage doors are on....
The only thing left are the missiles and a number of coats of pledge. I'm wondering weather to give the whole thing a light wash but i'm not sure yet.

Imposing beastie. Looks great. Leave it clean, I'm sure these were kept looking pretty tidy.

I agree, imposing it is. I like the ADC grey birds a lot.

I think you're right. All the pictures that i've seen of these are of very clean aircraft.shangos70 wrote:Imposing beastie. Looks great. Leave it clean, I'm sure these were kept looking pretty tidy.
I do find it odd that it had a really long service life but there is very little said about it. I've not found any documentaries or tv show about the f-106 and it's never mentioned in shows about other aircraft. It's like the US just want to forget that they ever flew these!

Great work there BBR. I often weather my kits but I think you're right in leaving it just as it is.
