That is fast, I agree. My PC restarts longer than it takes Iggie to complete a phase of building the tiger missile. :)

Decals are now all on bar some red stripes which will go on tomorrow. I've touched in any gaps with some Tamiya black acrylic so undercarriage on tomorrow as well and she'll be nearly done.
Thanks for looking in, more piccies tomorrow!
Best wishes

Only me again!

Progress as of last night; all tiger stripes on, occasional gaps between about six of the stripes filled with Tamiya black, nose cone painted.
Tonight if I get some bench time in, will be another gloss varnish, mask and paint radar/receiver panels in Tan (it says so in the instructions for the tiger-meet decals so it must be right  ), paint and assemble undercarriage.

That turned out splendidly! Scary beast. Did you paint the pitot or use thin decal?

And that's a wrap! :-D

Finished OOB; Syhart decals and classic Airfix kit = Good Mixture

The stripe on the pitot tube is a thin decal Marek; no way was I painting that

Blimey that was quick! Those decals sure are Grrreat ( sorry) Certainly given an old clunky kit a new life. Well done.

Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Thanks for the kind comments; no I'm not doing another one as I have a Spitfire and a Lanc to do! :-D

To be honest, there weren't a lot of parts to this, and it went together reasonably well given the age; being one base colour overall helps!

I thought the pitot was a black decal, I would not dare to paint it myself either. :) Really nice outcome and I agree, classic airfix kit with new decals goes a long distance.
