Looking really nice David, I'm especially impressed with how closely you've matched the paint to your decals Image

Did that the other way around Migrant and matched the artwork to the paint (or as closely to it as I could- remember that screen colour is different to printed colour) and then after applying the decals I carefully touched in the decals around the letters to hide any error.

Critique-
This is a wonderful old kit and the moulds have stood the test of time very well indeed and when I compared the red box kit I am using here with an original type 3 boxing from the stash only the colour of the plastic kept them apart. It is largely bereft of the rivets we normally associate with Airfix (the full-size airframe had a welded skin) and although the floats are discretely riveted the rest of the airframe is not and is detailed with very fine raised lines more reminiscent of a Frog or Heller model but it is a product of it's time and although it seems very accurate the interior details do need work to bring them up to date. The quality of the parts cannot be faulted and the current release sprue set is identical to a kit made say thirty or forty years ago. There are years left in this kit and with the wide variety of possible colour schemes this could be kept on sale for quite some time with periodic changes of markings, with discrete revision to the interior and engine details etc. it should sell for years.

This is an original fuselage half dry fitted to the current opposite half used in this GB.

It's really nice to see the land plane version for a change, and I do like the color scheme. Nice work.

Beautiful and rare. Did you smoke a cuban after finishing? I would hand one to you. A proper job.

Very nice, beautiful paint scheme and really makes me want to build one of these. You took a great attitude to this fine CBK.
