Very nice over all. I've had the 'New" instrument panels laying around for decades...about time to use them.

That is a lovely kit Barry and a nice subject choice. You should have no problems.

Thought about cutting away the 'background' to add depth, but decided that it would be a lot of work and probably not worth the effort.

Started off with something resembling ANA 611 Interior Green.

That looks a nice amount of cockpit detail in the box.

Yes it is David...I think there is a resin cockpit (maybe Pavla) for a T-6, but it would be better applied to the old Heller kit. This one, out of the box, is more than good enough for me.

This is a really nice kit. Things pretty much touch where they're 'sposed to and don't where they're not. So, the cockput turned out like this:

The biggest issue on the airframe is this tricky section :

The fix:

These raised recognition lights will be drilled out and replaced with clear sprue.

And poof!, we have an airplane.

Nice work Barry, and a nicely detailed kit. I have the Airfix version which has two seats for the cockpit!

Nice work. Nice kit this, neat looking cockpit straight out of the box. Good idea on the recognition lights, wish I had done that.

Nope, just two seats with pins attached to the fuselage to sit them on. Oh, and a triangular block to go in between them.

Edited to add picture
