Modelling any subject from a "lesser represented" country; which is not a value judgment. Kits may be any scale or subject but you must sign-up and have your country and subject approved. You may build any number of models or countries, but there may be only one modeler per country !!!

Thats always the way, your only tin of the paint you really need for a build which you are doing to beat a deadline decides to be dried up, or gritty. It happens. Murphy was an optimist.

Murphy's Law indeed. :)

Armed with a fresh bottle of paint I put on a base coat of brown, followed by Anthracite:

The Anthracite will require another coat as it has been brush painted on to appease our leader. (Only kidding Fred :-D )

Having pushed on through today I have managed to get this finished:

Overall this is a nice little kit with few fit issues and plenty of detail, I will definitely be building another.

Great result Chip :grin: I've always had a liking for the IAF and now I want to go and build a few of their aircraft.

Very pretty build. I must get one of these one day. I keep getting the Miles version for some reason. :mrgreen:

Beautiful aircraft and beautiful model. I guess it truly was a high tide mark for Heller in late 70ies and 80ies.
