Re: Chip's Fouga Magister
Thats always the way, your only tin of the paint you really need for a build which you are doing to beat a deadline decides to be dried up, or gritty. It happens. Murphy was an optimist.
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Murphy's Law indeed.
Armed with a fresh bottle of paint I put on a base coat of brown, followed by Anthracite:
The Anthracite will require another coat as it has been brush painted on to appease our leader. (Only kidding Fred )

Re: Chip's Fouga Magister
Having pushed on through today I have managed to get this finished:
Overall this is a nice little kit with few fit issues and plenty of detail, I will definitely be building another.

Great result Chip I've always had a liking for the IAF and now I want to go and build a few of their aircraft.

Very pretty build. I must get one of these one day. I keep getting the Miles version for some reason.
Enjoyment over accuracy. That's my motto

Beautiful aircraft and beautiful model. I guess it truly was a high tide mark for Heller in late 70ies and 80ies.
