....I don't suppose that the Tuskeegee decals that came with the kit are going spare? ;-)

Absolutely. I used the stencils and the little red quadrants on the inboard part of the flaps, but the national markings, yellow and red stripes and a/c numbers and name are all there.

That would be great! I've had a P51 built and painted, but waiting for decals, for about 5 years, since I saw the far superior, but much lesser budgeted, Lawrence Fishbourne 'Tuskeegee Airmen' movie. I'll PM my address if you let me know how much you want for them.

After a little more research, this a/c isn't from the Costa Rica Civil War proper, which was in 1948, but the Costa Rica Civil Guard which acquired the Mustangs - for $1 a throw - to counter an invasion from Nicaragua in 1955 in support of the deposed President Calderon.
