Lancfan's Monty's Messenger build ***FINISHED***

The one you have all been waiting for - Vac(u)-formed kits. Any subject, any kit, so long as the basis of the kit is vac-form (no, you can't enter an injection airplane with a vac-canopy). Started kits are eligible, within reason - this is a learning GB to introduce members the variety of kits, what can be accomplished with them, and to overcome any reluctance to add them to your modeling repertoire.
This is an extended GB, running 4 April to 31 May, and your hosts are Lancfan, SJPONeill, and Splash.

It's looking neat. What's the canopy like?

Andrew, the canopy is neatly detailed, the proper shape and is perfectly clear.

I have been busy on other builds for a short while but work can now re-start. Most of the work is now done and the cockpit will be complete today, the model should be finished this week.

The airframe is complete and the canopy has been fitted although I have made the build a little more difficult by separating the parts of the canopy to assemble it in the open position, the model is now ready to be painted.

Time to paint- beginning with primer.

The white has been added.

The white panels have been masked off and the yellow undersides and black stripes have been applied.

Being small and having a slightly involved colour scheme the uppersurfaces was painted in sections.

I originally made the wrong type of exhaust for this model, it has been modified to the correct type for a mark one.

Like many of Miles' design's this is a very attractive aircraft. A nice model and very tempting to source one myself.
