I'll be along SHORTly ... ** DNF ** (but still working)

The one you have all been waiting for - Vac(u)-formed kits. Any subject, any kit, so long as the basis of the kit is vac-form (no, you can't enter an injection airplane with a vac-canopy). Started kits are eligible, within reason - this is a learning GB to introduce members the variety of kits, what can be accomplished with them, and to overcome any reluctance to add them to your modeling repertoire.
This is an extended GB, running 4 April to 31 May, and your hosts are Lancfan, SJPONeill, and Splash.

Good luck with this. I have a few Welsh in the stash. They seem to make excellent vacs and use a good robust plastic that helps with the assembly. Is that your experience?

This is my first Welsh vac, but so far I am quite impressed. A single score, snap, and out cleanly.

BTW, I have decided, after some thought, to go with painted windows. I may however "fill" them to match the fuselage sides.

The Return of the Sloth ...

Only the two wing under-halves and floats to cut out ... maybe then I'll get to some sanding.

Great choice of kit John. Of course, as it's a "Welsh" model, I'm duty bound to approve ;-)

I'm sorry, I am going to declare DNF now.
We are in the annual town budget cycle, and a couple other things, and I just cannot break loose.

Might make a nice summer project as it is ready to sand down the edges then assemble but it isn't going to happen now.

Pity but these things happen. I hope to follow a build of it when you get more time.

Do not get excited, I am still a DNF ....

but I did get the odd couple hours in the "summer" air and did some sanding and assembling ...

The fuselage was two sides and 3 bulkheads (visible though the sidewalls), easy enough.
I started on the tailplane and rudder but didn't get very far, so I'll be looking for the next window of opportunity ....

Darn ! I just realized I didn't modify the fuselage for an in-flight stand, now I'll have to do that. I like a tube inside to take an acrylic rod, but maybe I'll do a simple slot. The good news is the vac-form model doesn't weigh much compared to styrene ...
