Thanks guys,

Main airframe together now and painted ready for decaling. Only filler used was at the boom to wing join. Not bad for a 46 year old tooling

Decals are on and setting, seem to have worked well considering their age. Next step dangly bits

Thanks for looking

Looks really nice kit but, man, those are big sink marks in the booms. More like sink craters ;-)

Maybe they're deliberate and Airfix planned them to appear under the wing roots ;-)

I have one of these in a later boxing and it's a terrible fit. I started it and threw it back in the box.
It's a pity because I had been chasing one for years as I remember my Dad building it from the Dogfight Doubles boxing.

shangos70:- yeh as I said, I had a later boxing and it was so bad the moulds were most likely shot. Didn't go back in the box, went in the bin

Anyway declaring this one finished

Anyone that is after one, definitely go for the earlier packs, at least they fit

Always liked those O-2As for some reason. That looks a little gem.

Love it. Both your builds for this GB are kits that I have been after for years.

I hope Airfix re-issue both these soon.
