Thank you for comments Splash and AndrewR.

I did forget to mention that I had to use some card and make a small "inner box" that sits 6-8mm away from the windows on the inside, otherwise the windows allow you to see right through the building and see that there is no interior. I couldn't just add a strip of something across it at some point, as the windows on the sides are not identical and I could not easily find a point of contact on both sides. Hence an internal box covered the problem.

Our 1st finish!

Very nice Chris - it looks really good, and something different to boot.

Great work!

Chris, its easy enough to knock up some interior walls ;-)
To break-up the see-through, I put in interior walls and floor,

I didn't go overboard with accuracy of layout or decoration,

Ratch you f..laming whatnot !!! I thought I could call this one done... obviously not ..

I recall hearing of someone on ATF building the rooms and interiors... sculpting stuff from waste sprue etc etc?

For everyone else following my trials and tribulations .. If real-life allows, I will see if I can get my act in gear, in next few days, before I get locked out, and the month is out ... and see what interior improvements I can arrange....

Anyone got the contact details for Changing Rooms/Nick Knowles and crew?

I will just scrape in under the finishing bar and report that I have "gone back and done something with the inside" ... not the best workmanship in the world but it does when up the right way now look better and shows something inside but does not allow see-through:

So this one is now fully finished.

Lastly: thanks to those who suggested, organised the managed the GB and hope to partake in some others in future.

Got to be Watney's Red Barrel at that pub!

Great idea to stop the see-through effect.
