Daz's Warbird Hurricane

Post by DazDaMan »

I'll be doing this one:

Subject will likely be a flyable Hurricane, but I'm not sure which one yet.

Hang on, just realised the scheme on the box art is the same as that currently worn by BBMF Hurricane LF363, so I'll go with that!

I love it when a plan comes together! :-D

Is this the old version re-boxed or a new tool?

Not forgotten about this one - it's up after the BBMF Spit.

OK, so now those pesky Spitfires are out of the way, I can crack on with this. Fingers crossed I can finish it before Sunday...!

I'm sure you can do it, Daz; that Hurri kit should just about fall together. I seem to recall it has detail where it's required, but it's not a complicated build. If only I could get interested in 1/48th . . .

regards,

Martin

I built one earlier this year (my Angels One-Five build) and it was a nice kit.

1/48th is fun, Martin! :ha:

Well, this one is maybe not so nice.

It seems to be almost completely covered in....

"FLASH! A-AH!"

I've painted the innards, but that's as far as I've got. Major lack of mojo recently (hell, it took me over a week to do the first Airfix Spit!). If we leave this GB going until, say, Wednesday, I should finish it.
