Starting on the U/C area. This is my first new tool Airfix and it's a joy to behold so far.

For a kit this good I'm surprised that the wing tips are not flush.

I had the same problem with those wingtips, the only other way to get them lined up was to tilt the wing up but that gave it less of a Hurricane and more of a Spitfire appearance!!. So left it level and did what you did!. :grin:
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!! :lol:

Cockpit all but done

Does the circled area have to be filled or is it open in real life?

Toby, if you google Hurricane cockpits, you'll see that the gunsight mounted off the middle part of that "bridge" across the instrument panel. It is a slightly simplified structure compared to the real thing but infinitely better than Airfix has ever done in this area in a Hurricane before.

Camouflage finished. I used the Montex Masks A pattern for Fabric Hurricanes and once you understand the diagram it's quite straightforward to use.

I must say I think Airfix decals are amongst the best I use these days that come from a major manufacturer.

Lovely paint job. I have never come across Montex Masks before but will keep an eye out for them in the future.

Apologies. I used AML asks for the camou. http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AMLM7314;
I used Peewit masks for the canopy. http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/PEE72001;
Underside done. Just need the wheels I've ordered from Freightdog to arrive and I will be finished.
